Since 2005, the organization annually has asked for open nominations from the public to that recognize our heritage legacy on the Lower Shore. LESHC is looking for nominations of exemplary individuals, organizations, exhibits, programs, and products that have contributed significantly to the heritage of our tri county communities of Wicomico, Worcester and Somerset.

Prior year's winners included Skipjack Captain Arthur Daniels, Nabb Research Center, Berlin Peach Festival, Salisbury Firefest Event, Ranger Christopher Seymour, The Zionaires, and Harry Jackson..

With the nomination form, include a statement of 500 words or less about why your nominee should be recognized and in which category. Supporting materials specified by category must also be attached with the form. Self nominations are accepted.

The deadline for all nominations is December 7, 2012.Forms are available here or you may request an form via email at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). The winners will be honored at the January 2013 LESHC Annual Luncheon Meeting.
